The GMA field is located at 8250 Old Federal Rd in Ballground, GA 30107. If driving into the Atlanta area from US HWY 85 or 75, take the 285 bypass and exit on GA 400 north toward Cumming, GA. Take a left on 369 (the first traffic light you will encounter on GA 400) and travel approximately 8.5 miles. Make a right onto Old Federal Rd and you will see the flying field on your right in approximately ¾ of a mile. Some GPS' will try to get you to exit GA-400 earlier.. Trust me.. the above directions are the most direct! |
Paved and "Golf Course Smooth" Grass Runways with no obstructions.
Runway is OVER 700Ft LONG!!
Covered Pavillion, Electricity and water (No hook-ups), Campers, RV's, and Tents Welcome!
Pre Registered Entry Fee $35 for IMAC members
Non- Pre Registered Entry Fee $40 for IMAC members
Non-IMAC members $6534.45 (not really...but join IMAC so it isn't $45!)

Lunch Saturday provided for Pilots
There will be a Grill available for Friday and Saturday so bring your steaks,
chicken, or burgers!
Field will be available for IMAC practice on Friday. (You are welcome to come
earlier, just follow club rules!)
We will plan on Freestyle on Sunday Afternoon, depending on entries.
Saturday Night Foamie flying is Welcome!!
